While the Wildcats have been busy searching through the transfer portal, that doesn’t mean high school recruiting has stopped. And if you’re a former wide receiver and receivers coach like Brent Brennan, you can never have too many receivers. On Friday, 2025 three-star wide receiver Landon Kelsey from Oregon committed to Arizona.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound receiver currently plays his high school ball at Central Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon. He was previously committed to Eastern Washington, but decommitted in mid-November. He received an offer from the Wildcats last Saturday, a day after Seth Doege was named Arizona’s new offensive coordinator.

In addition to Eastern Washington, Kelsey also held offers from Air Force, Colorado State, Nevada, Portland State, San Diego State, and UNLV. 247Sports.com rates him as the No. 11 prospect from the state of Oregon and the 167th-best wide receiver in the class of 2025.

With Arizona looking to replace Tetairoa McMillan, who has declared for the NFL Draft, and Montana Lemonious-Craig, who has exhausted his eligibility, depth at the wide receiver position can only help the Wildcats. The UA also lost four other receivers, AJ Jones, Reymello Murphy, Malachi Riley, and Jackson Holman, to the transfer portal.

Landon Kelsey is the 23rd player committed in the 2025 Arizona recruiting class. He is also the third wide receiver, alongside four-star Isaiah Mizell and three-star Gio Richardson. The Wildcats have also added Kris Hutson from Washington State and Luke Wysong from New Mexico.
