Becky Burke spent her first two weeks assembling a coaching staff and transfer portal class that can make an instant impact on the court. With both of those boxes checked, she’s shifted her attention to building out the Wildcats’ 2025 recruiting class over the last couple of days. On Saturday, forward Daniah Trammell announced she’s flipping her commitment from Buffalo to Arizona Women’s Basketball and will follow Becky Burke to Tucson.

The 6-foot-1 forward from Cincinnati, Ohio currently preps at Winton Woods High School. During her career with the Warriors, Trammell was a 1,000 point scorer and helped lead Winton Woods to a perfect 27-0 record and the Division II State Championship in 2025. Following her senior season, she earned All-Southwest Ohio District First Team and Player of the Year honors. Instagram’s “Ohio Girls Basketball” also ranks Trammell as a Top 10 prospect from the Buckeye state.

“Daniah is a special talent. She competes at an extremely high level on both ends of the floor, and I love that about her,” said Burke in a Buffalo signing day release last November. “She’s definitely going to test opponents’ competitiveness and fire because hers is as good as it gets. I think she’s selfless and loves the game of basketball which helps her embrace her role, whatever that may be, to help her team win. I expect Daniah to make an immediate impact on this program.”

With Daniah Trammell flipping her commitment to Arizona, Becky Burke and Co. have now added three players to the 2025 recruiting class. Trammell joins former Auburn commit OgheneRuona Miracle from Dallas, Texas and fellow ex-Buffalo signee Molly Ladwig from Omaha, Nebraska. The Wildcats now have a total of 12 players on the 2025-26 roster, including 11 new players and lone returner Montaya Dew.
