The name Fifita has become a fixture in Tucson since quarterback Noah Fifita took over the reigns of Arizona’s offense in 2023. Well now, Wildcats fans will get to see a Fifita in an Arizona uniform even after Noah’s career in the Old Pueblo is over. On Monday, 2026 linebacker Dash Fifita committed to the Arizona Wildcats, he announced via social media.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound linebacker and younger brother of Arizona starting quarterback Noah Fifita currently plays his high school ball at Santa Margarita Catholic in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Last season, he appeared in 12 games, tallying 100 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception, two pass deflections, and two fumble recoveries. He was also the 2024 Trinity League Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
The Trinity League is often referred to as one of the most competitive high school conferences in the country. The league features seven programs including powerhouses Mater Dei, where Fifita spent the first two years of his high school career, and St. John Bosco, as well as Servite, which produced key members of Arizona’s 2022 recruiting class Noah, Tetairoa McMillan, Jacob Manu, and Keyan Burnett.
While 247Sports.com does not have a rating for Fifita, that could change following his commitment to a Power 4 program. Fifita’s first collegiate offer came from Arizona, and he chose the Wildcats over Sacramento State.
With Dash Fifita committed to Arizona, the Wildcats now have three commits in their 2026 recruiting class. He joins three-star wide receiver Hamisi Juma and three-star offensive lineman Michael Langi. Fifita is the first defensive commit in the Wildcat’s 2026 recruiting class.
