Brent Brennan and Co. hosted their final weekend of official visits, and once again were able to capitalize on having prospects in the building and on campus. On Monday, 2026 offensive and defensive lineman Kaisi Lafitaga from American Samoa committed to the Arizona Wildcats.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pounds Lafitaga currently plays his high school ball at Tafuna High School in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He does not have an internal rating from 247Sports.com, nor does he has a composite rating. The relatively unknown recruit has offers listed from two other programs, Alcorn State and Hawaii, but did not take any other official visits outside of his trip to Arizona.

While Lafitaga primarily lined up on the offensive side of the ball in high school, he will play for Joe Salave’a on the defensive line in Tucson. With his 6-foot-3 and 290-pound frame, he has a good balance of size, speed, and strength, and is able to both deliver and absorb blows in the trenches.

With a commitment from Kaisi Lafitaga, Arizona now has 14 members in its 2026 recruiting class. While the Wildcats continue to prioritize Polynesian players as part of their recruiting classes, Lafitaga is the first player from a Pacific island or territory in the class of 2026. He is also the second defensive lineman, joining 3-star edge Harvie Moeai from Utah, and the seventh defensive player in the Wildcats’ 2026 recruiting class.
