Over the last three plus seasons, Arizona has prided itself on the family first culture. No one has been more integral to that culture than Noah Fifita, Tetairoa McMillan, Jacob Manu, and the Wildcats’ Polynesian players. On Sunday, the family gain another member as three-star offensive lineman Sione Tohi committed to Arizona.

The 6-foot-3, 356-pound interior offensive lineman currently attends Southern California powerhouse Mater Dei High School, in Santa Ana, California, better know by Wildcat fans as “Juice County”. Given his size and frame, Tohi will likely lineup as guard on the interior of the line. If he continues to add some more height, Arizona could explore lining him up as a tackle on the outside of the line.

Tohi had an impressive offer list, featuring a number of SEC programs, including Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. He also held offers from ASU and Michigan State before committing to Arizona. 247Sports.com rates Tohi as the No. 71 prospect from California, 55th-best interior offensive lineman, and No. 883 overall prospect.

Following his commitment, Les Fifita, Noah’s father, had this to say on X (formerly Twitter), “Family is not a phrase for us… Family is an emotion. Emotion so strong that it overcomes money and everything else this world tells you is important…Family is Everything for us and Arizona.”

He will join Josh Tucheck from Southern California, who committed to the Wildcats in mid-June. Sione Tohi is also the first offensive lineman committed to Josh Oglesby and Arizona in the Cats’ 2025 recruiting class.
