Wildcat Nation may be focused on the baseball team currently in Omaha in the Men’s College World Series, but the football staff is still hard at work trying to turn official visits into commitments. On Sunday, Brent Brennan and Co. did just that. Arizona has landed a commitment from 2026 three-star wide receiver RJ Mosley following an official visit to Tucson.
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Mosley is a native of Pittsburg, California and preps at Pittsburg High School. Per 247Sports.com internal ratings, he is the No. 87 prospect from California and the 133rd-rated wide receiver in the class of 2026. He does not currently have a composite rating. Mosley took an official visit to Tucson on June 6 before committing to Arizona. He held offers from 14 programs and chose the Cats over Cal, Georgia, SMU, Stanford, Utah, and more.
During his junior season in 2024, Mosley appeared in 14 games, hauling in 48 receptions for 594 yards and 8 touchdowns, while averaging 12.4 yards per catch. Brent Brennan continues to prioritize multi-sport athletes including Mosley, who participates in a variety of track and field sprints, including the 100-, 200-, and 400-meter events.
RJ Mosley is the eigth player in the Arizona Wildcats’ 2026 recruiting class and third player to announce their commitment after taking an official visit this summer. He joins three-star offensive tackle Malachi Joyner and edge Harvie Moeai, who announced their decisions at the beginning of the week. Mosley is also the second wide receiver in the Wildcats’ 2026 class, joining three-star Texas receiver Caleb Smith.
