TUCSON – As August comes to a close, the City of Tucson may have its eyes set on football season, but that’s not stopping Becky Burke and her new staff from staying aggressive on the recruiting trail. On Saturday, Arizona Women’s Basketball landed a commitment from 2026 four-star guard Jasleen Green.
Green, the 5-foot-8 guard from Plantation, Florida, began her high school career at American Heritage before transferring to Grandview Prep in Boca Raton, Florida. She also plays club ball for East Coast United. Green was named the Broward 4A-1A Basketball Player of the Year in 2025, an honor she’s taken home three years in a row.
On the recruiting trail, Green is the 23rd-best guard and No. 59 overall rated player in the class of 2026 per ESPN Hoopgurlz. Green, who held offers from over 25 programs, picked up an offer from the Arizona staff in late July before naming the Wildcats as one of her top five programs, alongside Michigan State, Wake Forest, Georgetown, and Auburn. Green took an official visit to Tucson a week ago, from August 22-24, before ultimately announcing her commitment to Becky Burke and the Wildcats.
With a commitment from Jasleen Green, the Arizona Wildcats now have three players in its 2026 recruiting class. Green joins New Jersey forward Priyanka Ponnam and Australian center Callie Hinder.
