Becky Burke continues her hot streak on the recruiting trail in recent weeks. After landing the first four-star recruit of the 2026 class 10 days ago, Burke has added another. On Saturday, Arizona Women’s Basketball landed a commitment from 2026 four-star guard Makayla Presser-Palmer.

The 5-foot-11 guard from Springfield, Pennsylvania currently attends Northwestern High School in Albion, PA. Through three years, Presser-Palmer has appeared in 76 games, averaging 23.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, as well as 3.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. She’s shot an efficient 49.9 percent from the field, but just 26.6 percent from 3-point range, during her three-year career thus far.

Presser-Palmer reported over 30 offers via social media, including Buffalo, Marquette, Princeton, St. John’s, Wake Forest, West Virginia, and more. She took an official visit to Arizona back on July 9, before ultimately choosing Becky Burke and the Wildcats in mid-September.

Per ESPN Hoopgurlz, Presser-Palmer is the No. 20 guard and No. 55 overall prospect in the class of 2026. The site also gives her a 93 scouts grade. Rivals lists her as the No. 4 player from Pennsylvania, No. 25 shooting guard, and No. 80 overall player in its internal rankings.

With the commitment from Makayla Presser-Palmer, Arizona now has four members in its 2026 recruiting class. Presser-Palmer joins fellow four-star guard Jasleen Green, as well as forward Priyanka Ponnam, and Australian center Callie Hinder.
