Off the heels of a 23-7 Territorial Cup win, Arizona made a strong impression in the final days of the early recruiting window. With Early Signing Day on Wednesday, December 3, the Wildcats have added two more players to key positions in their 2026 recruiting class. Hutchinson Community College (JUCO) defensive lineman Kevin Moorer and four-star offensive lineman Justin Morales have committed to Arizona.
Kevin Moorer:
The 6-foot-4, 277-pound defensive lineman is a native of Mobile, Alabama, but began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. In 10 games with the Blue Dragons, Moorer tallied 25 tackles, including 7.5 sacks, along with a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.
Per 247Sports.com, Moorer is the No. 17 JUCO player from Alabama, 13th-best JUCO defensive lineman, and No. 72 overall JUCO prospect in the class of 2026.
Moorer could be in a similar position to Deshawn McKnight, competing for immediate playing time in a depleted defensive tackle room. He is now the fifth defensive lineman joining the Wildcats, alongside Keytrin Harris, Prince Williams, Manoah Faupusa, and Harvie Moeai.
Justin Morales:
More help is coming on the offensive front too, after Arizona flipped Justin Morales’ commitment from Kansas State. The four-star offensive lineman is originally from El Paso, Texas and plays his high school ball at El Paso Franklin. Morales had been committed to Kansas State since June 2, but ultimately decided on the Big 12’s newest Wildcats after an official visit in early October. Prior to that, Morales held offers from 15 programs, including ASU, Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.
247Sports.com rates Morales as No. 38 player from the Lone Star State, 30th-best offensive tackle, and No. 311 overall prospect in the class of 2026.
With the commitment flip from Morales, the Wildcats now have 22 players in the 2026 recruiting class. Morales is one of six offensive lineman, as well as one of six four-star prospect expected to sign on Wednesday, including wide receiver RJ Mosley, defensive back Xaier Hiler, offensive lineman Malachi Joyner, quarterback Oscar Rios, and tight end Henry Gabalis.
Heading into Early Signing Day on Wednesday, Arizona currently has the fourth-best recruiting class in the Big 12 and the No. 31 overall class.
