Fresh off the heels of signing Brent Brennan’s best recruiting class, one of the key pieces in identifying that talent is set to call a different UA home. Arizona general manager Gaizka Crowley is reportedly heading to Arkansas for the same role. John Brice of FootballScoop.com was the first to report the news.

Crowley will join first-year Razorbacks head coach Ryan Silverfield as he looks to copy his rebuild efforts from Tucson to Fayetteville.

Prior to spending two seasons in the Old Pueblo, Crowley spent the 2023 season as the general manager at Western Michigan. He also spent time at UNLV as the program’s chief of staff, as well led the personnel department at Southern Illinois. Crowley is a Florida State graduate who has a depth of high-quality experience with XOS Digital, also known as Catapult, which helps coaching staff’s analysis of their roster and scouting.

Between Crowley, director of scouting Fletcher Kelly, and a number of recruiting staff and interns, the Wildcats have a top four recruiting class in the Big 12. Arizona also has the No. 35 overall signing class in 2026, per 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.

He is the first member of Arizona’s staff that Brent Brennan will need to replace heading into the 2025-26 season.

No. 17 Arizona (9-3) faces SMU (8-4) in the Holiday Bowl at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on Friday, Jan. 2, at 6 PM on FOX.
