In what’s been a busy week in the transfer portal, the Wildcats have added another player from the high school ranks. And as a result, the Arizona Wildcats will have not one, but two, sets of brother on the roster next fall in Tucson. On Wednesday, 2026 three-star cornerback Kingston Spivey, the younger brother of Wildcats’ wide receiver Tre Spivey, flipped his commitment from New Mexico to Arizona.

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Spivey is an in-state product. He is originally from Chandler, Arizona, and played his prep ball at Phoenix powerhouse Hamilton High School. Spivey originally committed to New Mexico in October over offers from Utah, Sacramento State, and Jackson State, but flipped his commitment following a late offer from the Wildcats.

247Sports.com Composite rates him as the No. 55 player from Arizona, 238th-best cornerback, and No. 2,981 overall prospect nationally in the class of 2026. The recruiting service is also listing Spivey as a walk-on.

Spivey is the third defensive back in the Wildcats’ 2026 recruiting class, joining Kansas State flip Hannibal Carter Navies and highly-touted signee Xaier Hiler from Texas. Tre and Kingston are also the second set of brothers that will be on the roster next season, joining quarterback Noah Fifita and linebacker signee Dash Fifita.
