Caleb Love accomplished a lot through three seasons in Chapel Hill, including spoiling Mike Krzyzewski’s farewell tour with Duke to send North Carolina to a national championship game. Through 15 games at Arizona, Love has added a new highlight to his career: win a conference player of the week award.

Caleb Love has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week following Arizona’s home sweep of the Mountain schools.

In the two wins last week, Love averaged 19.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, while shooting 59.3 percent from the floor. In the 97-50 win over Colorado, Love had 16 points, three rebounds, and a steal. He followed it up with a 23-point, six-rebound, six-assist performance in the 92-73 win over Utah.

Love’s 23-point performance against Utah marks the seventh time this season he has scored 20 or more points for the Wildcats. It’s also the third time an Arizona player has been named the conference player of the week, joining Kylan Boswell (November 13) and Oumar Ballo (December 26).

Arizona returns to action against Washington State in Pullman on Saturday, January 13, at 4:00 PM MST.
