Arizona kicker Tyler Loop has been named a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award, given to the top placekicker in college football each season.
This season, Loop is 13-15 (86.7%), and is perfect on kicks from 20-29 yards (5-5) and 30-39 yards (6-6). He is also perfect on extra point tries this season, connecting on 32-32 attempts for the Cats.
Loop set a new career-long with a 51-yard field goal in the 27-24 win over No. 11 Oregon State.
