Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita has been named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week.
Fifita completed 30 of 41 passes and threw for 527 yards and five touchdowns in Arizona’s 59-23 Territorial Cup win over ASU. His 527 passing yards set the Arizona single-game passing record and were the most in Territorial Cup history.
Fifita is also the first player in Pac-12 history to be named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week five times, breaking former Arizona State quarterback Jayden Daniels’ record of four times (2019). Fifita earned the honor four times in as many games for the Cats spanning from October 9 through November 6.
Noah Fifita and Arizona now await Selection Sunday on December 3 for their bowl game location and opponent, with most national outlets projecting Arizona will face the Oklahoma Sooners in the Alamo Bowl on December 28.
