Seth Doege said after spring camp that one of the main positions he was looking to bolster was offensive line. Well, Brent Brennan, Doege, Josh Oglesby, and the offensive staff have done just that, adding a transfer who has some developing ties to Tucson and a connection to the Grand Canyon State. On Saturday, former Arizona State offensive lineman Keona Peat signed with Arizona, according to Pete Nakos of On3.com.

The 6-foot-2, 265-pound offensive lineman and Tempe native, who ASU listed as a music audition major, played sparingly during his first two seasons in Tempe. He appeared in just two games during his career as a Sun Devil – one in 2023 and one in 2024. According to Pro Football Focus, Peat line up at center for 14 snaps during ASU’s win over Wyoming last season.

He is also the older brother of Koa Peat, the No. 8 men’s basketball prospect in the class of 2025 and a member of the Arizona Wildcats’ No. 2-overall ranked recruiting class. His older brother, Andrus, is an offensive lineman for the Las Vegas Raiders. He also has a older sister, Maya, who spent last season as a member of the Texas Tech Lady Raiders’ squad, and has since entered the transfer portal.

Keona Peat is now the 29th player Arizona has added this offseason, and the seventh offensive lineman joining the Wildcats’ room via the transfer portal. He joins Tristan Bounds (Michigan), Ty Buchanan (Texas Tech), Ka’ena Decambra (Hawaii), Isaac Perez (Portland State), and Chance Roberts (Albany), who committed following spring camp.
