Arizona Wildcats Treydan Stukes, Dalton Johnson, and Genesis Smith showcased their skills at the 2026 NFL Combine on Friday, turning some heads during the process. The three Arizona defensive backs posted some of the top times and marks, not just among DBs, but throughout the entire event, as they continue to prepare for the NFL Draft in late April.

Senior Treydan Stukes measured in at 6-foot-1 and 190-pounds, with a 31 3/4″ arm length and 8 1/2″ hand size. He posted a blistering fast 4.33 40-yard dash time, good for third among safeties and fourth-best at the combine through Friday. Stukes also recorded the second-best 10-yard split time, clocking in at 1.5 seconds. He finished with a 38″ vertical jump and a 10’10” broad jump, the 15th-best broad jump in Indianapolis and third-best among fellow safeties.

Next Gen Stats gives the Arizona native a 77 overall draft score, including a 74 production score and a 79 athleticism score. Stukes also earned a 6.24 prospect grade, or “will eventually be an average starter” assessment from the NFL.

Dalton Johnson also had an impressive showing at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Texas native officially measured in at 5-foot-11 and 192-pounds, with a 30 7/8″ arm length and 9 1/8″ hand size. Johnson also posted a lightning speed in the 40-yard dash, finishing with a 4.41 time and 1.59 second 10-yard split. His 40-yard dash time is tied for ninth-fastest at the combine so far. He also posted a 36″ vertical jump and a 9’11” broad jump.

Johnson earned a 71 overall Next Gen Stats grade, including a 68 production score and a 73 athleticism score. He finished with a 5.95 NFL Prospect Grade, placing him in the “average backup or special-teamer” tier.

Genesis Smith capitalized on his opportunity in Indianapolis as well, showing off his athleticism across the board. The Phoenix area native officially measured in at 6-foot-2 and 202-pounds, with 32 1/2″ arms and 8 7/8″ hands. He did not participate in the 40-yard dash, but excelled in the vertical jump with a 42.5″ jump, the best among safeties and fifth-best overall jump at the combine. He also recorded a 10’8 broad jump, good for fourth-among safeties behind fellow Wildcat Treydan Stukes. Smith did show off his lateral speed and agility in the 20-yard shuttle, finishing with a combine best 4.18 second time.

The junior defensive back earned a 72 Next Gen Stats grade, with a 67 production score, but an 80 athleticism score. The NFL also graded Smith as a 5.96 draft prospect, placing him in the “average backup or special-teamer” category alongside Johnson.

Per Justin Spears of the Arizona Daily Star, Smith reportedly met with five franchises, the Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Houston Texans, at the NFL Combine.

With the 2026 NFL Draft less than two months away, Stukes, Johnson, and Smith will continue to try and boost their draft stock with the hopes of hearing their names called in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While it is unclear yet if Arizona will host a Pro Day in Tucson, the three are expected to compete in drills and events if the program elects to do so.
