The highest-rated recruit in Arizona history has been nothing short of spectacular through his first three seasons in Tucson. On Tuesday, the nation agreed, as wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was named one of 11 Biletnikoff Award semifinalist.

McMillan is currently second among wide receivers and third nationally in receiving yards (1,136). He is also tied for seventh in the nation with seven touchdowns, and tenth in the nation in receptions (69).

The former AP Third-Team All-American is currently second in program history with 3,240 career receiving yards. He’s also third in program history with 25 receiving touchdowns. McMillan, who leads the Big 12 in receiving yards this season, needs just 112 yards to break the program record, held by Arizona legend and current UA wide receivers coach Bobby Wade (3,351).

It is the first Biletnikoff Award semifinalist appearance for Tetairoa McMillan. The Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to College Football’s most outstanding FBS receiver, regardless of position. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot or inside receiver, wingback, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.
