Arizona’s plan to roll with two seven-footers never quite panned out last season. And even though Henri Veesaar is heading to North Carolina next season, one seven-footer will be back in a Wildcat uniform next year. On Monday, Arizona confirmed via social media that center Motiejus Krivas is returning to Tucson for the 2025-26 season.

Krivas entered the season with NBA Draft expectations, but was hampered by a foot injury he suffered over the summer. The Lithuanian appeared in just eight games last season, making one start against Duke, before undergoing surgery in January. During that 8-game span, Krivas averaged 7.9 points and 4.5 rebounds, while shooting 55.3 percent from the field.

As a freshman in 2023-24, Krivas averaged 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds, while shooting 55.4 percent in 12.1 minutes per game.

Motiejus Krivas is one of two members of the Arizona Wildcats’ front-court returning next season, joining Tobe Awaka. Guards Jaden Bradley and Anthony Dell’Orso are also set to return to Tucson for another year.

The last player who has yet to make a decision about their return is freshman Carter Bryant. He is currently projected as a first-round pick who has until April 26 to enter the 2025 NBA Draft.
