In recent days, Arizona’s goal in the transfer portal has been crystal clear – protect quarterback Noah Fifita. After adding two offensive linemen on Friday, the Wildcats have added two more, giving the UA plenty of depth on the line next season. On Sunday, ex-Michigan tackle Tristan Bounds and former Hawaii offensive lineman Ka’ena Decambra committed to Arizona.

Bounds, a 6-foot-8, 305-pound tackle from Bethesda, Maryland spent four seasons at Michigan. During that time, he appeared in six games, primarily on special teams. He did see action at right tackle in four games, one as a freshman in 2021, and three as a sophomore in 2022. Bounds was also a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree from 2022-24.

Bounds, who was a member of Michigan’s national championship team last year, will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Ka’ena Decambra comes to Arizona after spending four seasons at Hawaii. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound Decambra has 23 career starts for the Rainbow Warriors, starting nine at right guard and two at right tackle in 2023, and 12 at left tackle this season. He finished the season with a 72.1 pass blocking grade, good for 12th-best among FBS tackles who played at least 500 passing snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

Decambra earned Academic All-Mountain West honors in 2023, and was an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention in 2024. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

With Tristan Bounds and Ka’ena Decambra committed to Arizona, the Wildcats now have 13 newcomers through the transfer portal. They are also the third and fourth offensive linemen Brent Brennan and Co. have added this offseason via the portal, joining Ty Buchanan from Texas Tech and Jordan Brown from Georgia Tech.
