Former Arizona Wildcat and Denver Nuggets forward Zeke Nnaji is staying put in the Mile High City.
Fresh off securing his first ring and NBA title, Nnaji has signed a 4-year, $32 million extension, that also includes a player option for the fourth year, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Nnaji’s agent, Adam Pensack of Pensack Sports.
The 2020 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year averaged 5.2 points and 2.6 rebounds, while shooting a career-high 56.1 percent, in 53 games and five starts last season with the Nuggets.
ESPN’s Wojnarowski also reported that Nnaji “is expected to play a more prominent role in the defending champions’ lineup this season.”
