Arizona running back Jonah Coleman (@jonahcoleman8) continues to have a breakout season for the Cats. The second-year back rushed for a career-high 179 yards on 11 carries in Saturday’s 34-31 win over Colorado.
After the game, head coach Jedd Fisch said, “He is going to be a captain in our program I’m sure starting next year. He is a leader in our program.”
With two games remaining on the schedule, Coleman (774 yards) has already surpassed Michael Wiley’s season rushing total from a year ago (771 yards), and is on track to have the program’s best single-season rushing performance since J.J. Taylor’s 1,434 yard season (2018).
The sophomore ball carrier’s downhill rushing style, vision, and explosiveness out of the backfield are paying dividends for Arizona.
