With three of the Wildcats’ top wide receivers graduating, Brent Brennan and Co. have been aggressive adding new targets for Noah Fifita next season. After adding a wide receiver from a former Pac-12 school, the UA is now adding another pass-catcher from a school joining the league in 2026. On Sunday, the Arizona Wildcats signed Colorado State wide receiver transfer Jordan Ross.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound speedster is a native of Compton, California and was a high-profile prospect coming out of high school two years ago. Per 247Sports.com Composite Rating, the former three-star Ross was the No. 37 prospect from California, 69th-best wide receiver, and No. 481 overall prospect in the class of 2024.

Ross battled injuries throughout his two-year stint in Fort Collins though. He appeared in 20 games, but hauled in just 26 receptions for 302 yards and a touchdown. His best game as a Ram came as a freshman in 2024 against Utah State, where he hauled in five receptions for 58 yards and his lone career score. He will have two years of eligibility remaining in Tucson.

Jordan Ross is the third wide receiver and sixth new pass-catcher Arizona has added via the transfer portal. He joins USC transfer DJ Jordan and former West Virginia wide out Rodney Gallagher III, as well as tight ends Cole Rusk (Illinois), Shane King (Southern Miss), and Arthur Ban (San Diego State), giving Noah Fifita plenty of options to distribute the football next season. Tre Spivey, who caught a team-high seven touchdowns this season, has already confirmed he will be back in 2026.
