It didn’t take long for the best wide receiver in Arizona program history to make his way into the rafters. Former wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and defensive back Randy Robbins have been selected to the Arizona Football Ring of Honor. Both will be inducted during the UA’s season opener on August 30 against Hawaii at Arizona Stadium.

McMillan finished his career in as the best pass catcher in program history. During his three years in Tucson, McMillan hauled in 213 receptions for 3,423 yards and 26 touchdowns. He leaves Arizona as the program’s all-time receiving yards leader. His reception and touchdown totals are both among the top five in program history as well. Following his record-setting junior season, McMillan was recognized as a consensus All-American, finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, and First Team All-Big 12 selection. In the 2025 NFL Draft, McMillan was drafted eighth overall by the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers’ selection makes McMillan the highest-drafted offensive player in program history 12th Wildcat to be selected in the first round all time.

Robbins was a standout defensive back from 1980-1983, and enters the Ring of Honor after being inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. Robbins tallied 12 interceptions and 28 pass breakups during his four-year career in Tucson. His play in Cardinal and Navy earned him a Pac-10 All-Conference Honorable Mention as a junior in 1982. Following his senior season, Robbins was named a First Team Pac-10 All Conference in 1983. Robbins played nine years in the NFL, spending time with the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. While with the Broncos, he played in three Super Bowls, tied for fourth among former Wildcats.
