You know what they say, “one’s company, two’s a crowd, and three’s a party.” Well, Arizona is having a party after hosting its first weekend of official visits for the 2025 recruiting class. On Monday, three-star cornerback Josh Tuchek, athlete Sean “Rambo” Robinson, and running back Wesley Yarbrough all commit to the Arizona Wildcats.
Josh Tuchek, Cornerback
The Wildcats’ first defensive commitment of the 2025 recruiting class is cornerback Josh Tuchek. Tuchek began his high school career at Los Alamitos High School before transferring to Millikan High School, where Arizona CB Tacario Davis played his high school ball. In his junior year last season, he racked up 48 tackles, including one TFL and sack, two picks, 25 PBUs, and five blocked punts/field goals.
The 6’1, 175-pound cornerback is rated as the No. 96 prospect from California, 106th best cornerback, and 1,244 overall prospect by 247Sports.com. He chose Arizona out of 13 offers, including Arizona State, Cal, Michigan State, Minnesota, Oregon State, Washington, and others.
He was a top priority for Defensive Coordinator Duane Akina and Stars Coach Brett Arce.
Sean “Rambo ” Robinson, Athlete
Arizona’s second commit of the day is Texas athlete Sean “Rambo” Robinson. Robinson, who attends Steele High School in Cibolo, Texas, is the truest definition of an athlete and can line up at just about every position on the gridiron. The 6’3, 205-pound athlete primarily takes snaps at wide receiver and quarterback, but also lines up as a tight end and even on the defensive side of the ball.
Robinson’s commitment was first released by his mother, Shannon Robinson, who posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) of him committing to Arizona in front of Brent Brennan and a number of Arizona staff.
The three-star ATH is rated by 247Sports.com as the No. 182 prospect from Texas, 94th-best athlete, and 1,137 overall prospect in the class of 2025. He held offers from 12 programs, and ultimately chose the Cats over Houston, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Tulane, UTEP, and others.
Wesley Yarbrough, Running Back
Arizona’s third commitment on Monday came from Texas running back Wesley Yarbrough. The three-star rusher and Crosby, Texas native is running back coach Alonzo “Zo” Carter’s first high school running back commit. At 5’10 and 195-pounds, Yarbrough runs with a balance of size and speed, and can also be an effective weapon in the passing game.
During his junior season, Yarbrough barreled his way for 737 yards and eight touchdowns on 152 carries. He also hauled in 12 catches for 185 yards and three more touchdowns. As a sophomore, he had 82 carries for 308 yards and four touchdowns. From his sophomore to junior season, Yarbrough improved his average yards per carry by a whole yard, improving from 3.8 to 4.8 YPC.
247Sports.com rates Yarbrough as the 100th-best player from Texas, No. 46 running back, and No. 570 overall prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. He held offers from 13 programs, choosing Arizona over Houston, Memphis, Oklahoma State, TCU, Utah, and more.
Josh Tuchek, Sean Robinson, and Wesley Yarbrough are now the fourth, fifth, and sixth players to commit to the 2025 Arizona recruiting class, joining tight end Kellan Ford and quarterbacks Robert McDaniel and Luke Haugo.
